After about 6 months since the “Toca” plantation, its “Brolhos” can be extracted from the “Toca-Mãe” and transplanted to another greenhouse. This process involves root cutting and the defoliation of the stalk which allows the creation of new roots. Each one of the “Tocas” produces from 3 up to 4 “Brolhos” from which are usually selected two.
After 6 up to 8 months it is considered that the plants are ready to be transplanted to a final greenhouse, this one built out of wood and glass.
